Meet Dr. Matthew T. Reynolds

There’s nothing better than helping people get out of pain and truly be healthy again through natural, sustainable methods—no drugs or surgery required.

Dr. Reynolds especially enjoys seeing first-time patients experience chiropractic care for the first time and watching skeptics discover what natural health care can accomplish.

From the Military to Chiropractic

Dr. Reynolds’ path to chiropractic started while he was on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, stationed overseas. Struggling with low back pain that cost him a failed PT test, he was offered little more than 800mg of Motrin as a solution. Determined to find something better, he tracked down a chiropractor in England, got adjusted a few times, retested, and passed. That experience, combined with a lifelong interest in nutrition and the GI Bill waiting for him after separation, made the decision clear.

He enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, where a demanding clinical nutrition course taught by Dr. Krabbe pushed him to one of his best grades in the program. His true “aha” moment came during clinicals at the end of school, when he finally got to apply everything he’d learned and help real people for the first time.

A Whole-Person Approach to Health

After seven years in practice, Dr. Reynolds has come to see chiropractic as something bigger than back pain relief. He believes it’s a powerful tool for helping curb the opioid epidemic by giving people real, lasting resolutions to pain instead of an addictive bandage.

His certification in Food as Medicine (CFNIP) allows him to combine chiropractic care with clinical nutrition, advanced lab testing, nutritional coaching, and targeted nutraceutical recommendations, giving him more ways to help patients address health concerns that medications alone couldn’t resolve.

Dr. Reynolds is also certified in instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation and the Activator Method®, and is currently working toward his Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) certification. His mission is about “making America healthy again—one patient, one family, and one nervous system at a time.” Patients often notice his relaxed, easygoing personality right away, though many are surprised by the depth of his knowledge once the conversation gets going.

Life in Colorado

Outside the practice, Dr. Reynolds is all in on Colorado living. He hikes every week with his son Gavin, snowboards 15 to 20 days each season, and spends as much time outdoors as possible between concerts, restaurant patios, and hot springs. Raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan as the middle of three children, he grew up with a father who worked as an engineer and a mother who now sells life insurance in Florida.

Today, most of his free time is dedicated to Gavin, who has profound autism. Being Gavin’s dad has been a constant challenge, but Dr. Reynolds calls it hands-down the most fulfilling thing he’s ever experienced.
